U16 National Champions 
Following on from Raiders boys success in the State championships, our Raiders boys playing in the Victorian u16 boys team have added the Australian championship title to their credit.
Raiders representatives in the Victorian team were Sam Kassianou, Jake Matchett, Jack Hayes, Alex Tapanes and Mitchell Bennett.
Sam Kassianou was recognised as the Best Team Player at the Softball Victoria State Awards in May 2009. Great effort Sam!
U16 Waverley Boys and Girls Teams win State Champs!
An abundance of Raiders players helped Waverley win both the boys and girls u16 state championships. It was the first time WSA had entered a boys team. They competed in B grade were undefeated through the weekend. Raiders u17 boys team coach and club sponsor Rodger Trevethan coached the team with assistance from Nick Kassianou Raiders u14 boys team coach. Congratulations to all involved. Raiders players were Sam Kassianou, Jake Matchett, Jack Hayes, Alex Tapanes, Cameron Hughes, Jason Lindsay, Tim Rogers and Jarred Monk.
Raiders representatives in the Waverley u16 girls championship team were Racquel Bisinella-Duns, Tiarne Ecker, Emily Kassianou, Zoe Monk and Elly Trevethan.

Friendship Series and International Challenge in Blacktown, July 2008
Good luck to Raider's players involved in the Friendship series in Blacktown, they are: Sam Trevethan, Sam Kassianou and Zoe Hughes. And good luck to Emily Smethurst selected in the Aussie team for the International Challenge.
2008 Victorian Junior Girls Development Academy
The following Raiders girls have recently been selected in this squad: Elly Trevethan, Emily Kassianou, Kristina Bates, Sarah Honeycombe and Zoe Monk. The girls will compete in Adelaide in October.
State Selection into Victorian U16 and U19 teams
Congratulations to all the Raider's girls and boys who gained selection into Victorian teams. Racquel Bisinella-Duns has made the U16 girls team. Sam Allen and Emily Smethurst are in the u19 team. U16 boys selected were Jack Hayes, Sam Kassianou, Jake Matchett and Alex Tapanes. U19 boys team - Sam Trevethan. Go Raiders!!!!
VSSSA championship held in Blacktown, May 2008
Victoria finished fourth in the championship. Congratulations to Raiders representatives in the team Samantha Allen, Sarah Noonan and Jessy Trengove.
